We have developed a solution which automatically downloads driver card files to the TraceGrid system when the driver card is inserted into the card reader. The card reader must be connected to a computer via a USB cable but does not require any action on the computer. You simply insert the driver card into the card reader and wait until the LED stops blinking. This solution helps ensure that all driver cards are downloaded even if not all vehicles are equipped with digital tachographs that support remote download.
